ADK Group signs MOU with Stagwell for Global Strategic Collaboration

Establishing a New ADK Global Network
TOKYO – July 22, 2025 – ADK Group is pleased to announce that in order to transition global marketing operations from direct management to a partnership-driven model, ADK Marketing Solutions Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Toshiya Oyama, hereinafter referred to as “ADK MS”) an advertising and marketing company, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Stagwell, to advance strategic collaboration on a global scale. The two groups should be able to deliver more diversified services across broader range of markets than ever.
More specifically, ADK and Stagwell will collaborate with both organizations in the following areas:
•Support for marketing activities of Japanese companies targeting global markets
•Support for marketing activities of international companies entering the Japanese market
•Shared access to each group’s data assets, tools, and solutions to strengthen services in Japan and globally
•Other possible collaborative initiatives under the partnership
This collaboration aims to establish a new global network, distinct from traditional major advertising networks, with unique characteristics. The two groups have already begun sharing insights and solutions. Within the ADK Group, we are actively exploring the use of Stagwell’s integrated, practical solutions, which include a suite of SaaS tools encompassing research, creative, media, commerce, data platforms, and AI technologies, all available on a unified platform. In addition, we are accelerating efforts to strengthen overall collaboration and partnership development with more than 70 of Stagwell’s diverse and uniquely positioned agency partners.
To further accelerate this partnership, ADK MS established the “Business Development Division, Global Projects” as of July 1, 2025. This organizational hub aims to seamlessly connect ADK Group with agency partners under Stagwell, facilitating the delivery of comprehensive services throughout the entire marketing value chain, including research, communications (PR), media, and creative production on a global scale. Collaborative initiatives have already commenced, such as planning and developing of global brand assets for Japanese companies, managing cross-regional media operations in the APAC region, and planning campaigns for the North American market. These efforts represent the beginning of concrete actions to address a wide range of client challenges, both in Japan and internationally.

In addition to our capital partnership with global IP leader KRAFTON, ADK Group believes that collaborating with Stagwell will allow both parties to leverage their unique strengths and achieve sustainable growth. Moving forward, we will focus on our vision of ‘Growing Brands and Fans’, a key component of our mid-term business plan, as we work to strengthen our operation both in Japan and internationally.
As part of this strategic shift, ADK Group completed the transfer of all shares in its overseas subsidiaries under “ADK GLOBAL”, its international marketing business in APAC region. on June 2, 2025, and ADK GLOBAL merged with Assembly, a global omnichannel media agency of Stagwell. Please note that this transfer does not include the international content business of ADK Emotions Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Kunihiko Shibata).
