Asatsu-DK Inc. (ADK) launches ADK
Dialog, Inc. (ADK Dialog), a 100%-owned subsidiary, to leverage its
360-degree communications program strategy in 2008.
ADK Dialog will start operations in January 2008, to offer new
marketing solution services. These new services are enhanced direct
marketing services created through the integration of traditional DRM
(Direct Response Management) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
While traditional DRM or CRM tends to focus on a one-to-one
relationship between an advertiser and each of its customers, Dialog
Marketing will help not only the advertiser and its clients, but also
all other stakeholders connected with the brand, like suppliers and the
sales force, to have direct multi-channel dialogs to establish and
maintain lively and meaningful communications. As a result, Dialog
Marketing will create common values among stakeholders towards the
brand, thereby enhancing both business and brand value. The new Dialog
Marketing approach also has a strategic value for the ADK group as it
further enhances its powerful 360-degree communications program.
ADK Dialog will be created by amalgamating Motivation Marketing Inc.
(MMI) and the DRM division of TRI Communication Inc. (TRI), both wholly
owned subsidiaries of ADK. Mr. Seiji Kazama, Deputy Division Director of
the Direct Communications Division of ADK will become the Chief
Executive of ADK Dialog and lead synergy creation between ADK and ADK
Dialog. The new company is capitalized at \ 80 million and will start
with 30 employees. Gross billings for 2008 are forecast to be \ 1,800
million. There will be no material influence on ADK's consolidated
results for 2007.
